Wings are a perfect dish to throw together for a quick, delicious meal. Whether it’s for a party, game day, or just a weeknight dinner, chicken wings are always a crowd pleaser.
Chicken wings can be deep fried, grilled, or baked, but to make your life a little easier, we’re using an air fryer for this recipe.
AIR FRYER CHICKEN WING TIPS
- If you have whole chicken wings, spread the flat and the drumette and find the joint. Slice through it at the joint between the flat and the drumette, so you’re left with 2 pieces. Cutting the wing tip off is optional, but there is meat in the tip and the crispy skin is delicious.
- Pat the wings with paper towels until completely dry.
- Mix the wings with olive oil—this helps crisp them up in the air fryer.
- Generously sprinkle the Memphis Marinades 901 Reserve Rub and mix thoroughly.
- Let the wings sit for 15-20 minutes until they come to room temperature.
