  • 16 oz blackberries
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (half lemon)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
INGREDIENTS (COBBLER TOPPING )
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 6 tbsp butter, melted

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the blackberries, lemon juice, vanilla, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and cornstarch and mix.
  3. Place the blackberry mixture into a greased 8-inch square baking dish.
  4. To make the cobbler topping, stir together the egg, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, flour, and lemon zest in a mixing bowl until mixed.
  5. Sprinkle the cobbler topping over the Blackberry mixture.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the cobbler topping.
