INGREDIENTS (MEAT)
- 1/2 box of dried spaghetti (225 grams)
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 shallot, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp Memphis Marinades 901 Reserve or Mild Memphis Rub & Shake
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp parsley, minced
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cook the spaghetti in a pot of salted water according to instructions on the package. Keep 1 cup of pasta water for the sauce. Drain pasta and set aside.
- While spaghetti is cooking, season shrimp with 1 tbsp of 901 Reserve or Mild Memphis Rub & Shake.
- In a saucepan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and sauté for 2 minutes per side or until shrimp is cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same saucepan, add the shallot and cook for 2 minutes. Add the garlic, then cook 1 minute.
- Add white wine and deglaze the pan on medium high heat. Cook until alcohol has evaporated and reduced to about 1 tbsp of liquid.
- Turn heat down to low and add pasta, pasta water, butter, the remaining 901 Reserve or Mild Memphis Rub & Shake, freshly ground black pepper and cheese into the saucepan. Stir until the noodles are coated evenly. Add shrimp and toss until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with parsley and more parmesan cheese if desired.
- Enjoy.
