INGREDIENTS (MEAT)
  • 1/2 box of dried spaghetti (225 grams)
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Memphis Marinades 901 Reserve or Mild Memphis Rub & Shake
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley, minced

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a pot of salted water according to instructions on the package. Keep 1 cup of pasta water for the sauce. Drain pasta and set aside.
  2. While spaghetti is cooking, season shrimp with 1 tbsp of 901 Reserve or Mild Memphis Rub & Shake.
  3. In a saucepan, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the shrimp in a single layer and sauté for 2 minutes per side or until shrimp is cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same saucepan, add the shallot and cook for 2 minutes. Add the garlic, then cook 1 minute.
  5. Add white wine and deglaze the pan on medium high heat. Cook until alcohol has evaporated and reduced to about 1 tbsp of liquid.
  6. Turn heat down to low and add pasta, pasta water, butter, the remaining 901 Reserve or Mild Memphis Rub & Shake, freshly ground black pepper and cheese into the saucepan. Stir until the noodles are coated evenly. Add shrimp and toss until everything is heated through.
  7. Garnish with parsley and more parmesan cheese if desired.
  8. Enjoy.
