INGREDIENTS
- 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3–4 ripe bananas
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven at 350°F.
- Bring the butter to room temperature. If in a hurry, cut into cubes and microwave for 35 seconds.
- In a mixing bowl, mash up the bananas and set aside.
- In a separate mixing bowl, mix the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together with a spatula or whisk. Once combined, add the flour and mix together with a spatula.
- Add the bananas into the flour mixture and mix until combined.
- Prepare your loaf pan by smearing butter or spray with baking spray and rub into the surface of the loaf pan.
- Pour the banana mixture into the loaf pan and bake until the middle of the loaf has an internal temperature of 190-195°F, about 50-55 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.
- Remove the banana bread from the loaf pan and enjoy.
